India’s vast maritime resources has played an integral role over the past years to drive economic growth of the country. Over the past few years, initiatives from the governance, academia and the industry have been actively promoting to set up Blue economy landscape for a sustainable use of ocean resources balancing social, environmental and economic sustainability. This highlights need to align principles and vision of blue economy to the existing values and drivers of ocean economy
This systemic study is crucial for aligning economic development with ecological sustainability and national security by mapping the drivers and factors driving systemic changes. Our study attempts to sensitise stakeholders on the potential of the domain by mapping the emerging relationships and their impacts, offering insights into a balanced and prosperous future
